In November, my lifelong dream came true. I won a national title for the Miss American Coed Pageant System ("MAC Pageants"). I am happy to announce that I am now your Ms. American Coed. This win is a culmination of a journey that started back in 2005, when I was a young girl learning who I was. What made the win even sweeter is I was supported by young ladies, who wanted the crown as badly as I did, but was genuinely happy for my success. I am truly thankful for the support that each of you has provided me, and my goal for this year is to make sure that I representing you all to the best of my abilities. I plan to do this by traveling the country, promoting MAC Pageants, and the personal growth that it provides young women in reaching their dreams.
I have already started this initiative by working with Susan Komen over the holidays. We wrapped presents during the holidays and accepted donations for those currently receiving breast cancer treatments. I also hosted an ugly sweater party for dogs. As a puppy mom of two, I enjoyed bringing my pups out for a good cause and was happy to raise proceeds towards a local animal shelter. These are just two examples of how I plan to put the crown to good use, throughout my reign.
Please stay tuned because it's gonna be a wild ride!
Hugs,
Dymond Elise
